Our Approach

  • We begin with conversation and prayerful listening. From there, we walk with your team through the Discern, Design, Develop, and Deploy movements at a pace that matches your church. Every step is shaped by clarity, presence, and careful thought rather than urgency or pressure.

  • Most churches engage with Lucent for eight to sixteen weeks depending on their needs and capacity. Some choose to continue with periodic check-ins or ongoing guidance once the initial work is completed.

  • Yes. We spend time with senior leadership and also help align staff teams and key volunteers so the church moves forward together. Healthy change is rarely individual. It grows out of shared understanding and collective ownership.

  • It can be. We help churches integrate AI tools and systems in ways that strengthen pastoral ministry, simplify communication, and support their mission. The purpose is always to serve people more faithfully rather than to replace presence or discernment.

  • Lucent approaches consulting as a ministry of wisdom and formation rather than a package of strategies. We help churches think deeply about their moment, listen for what faithfulness requires, and move forward with confidence. The work is strategic, but it grows from prayerful depth.

  • Yes. Depending on the scope of the work, we meet with teams on-site for sessions, workshops, and/or leadership retreats. Travel details can be discussed during the initial conversation.
